media release: Composer, pianist, and collaborator, Philip Daniel, will make his appearance on Sat. Sept. 24th after Art Walk Stoughton.
Philip Daniel has released 7 studio albums, several EP’s, and is an active collaborator. He has ventured into the film composing world and also has been active as a composer for dance, working with notable dance companies such as the Jacob Jonas dance company, Whim Whim, SALT Dance, Tristan Griffin Dance Company and more. His music has been streamed over 20 million times and has been featured in countless films worldwide. Daniel has now been moving away from composing with traditional sounds and experimenting with blending electronics with classical instrumentation, which can be heard on current projects and scores.
His sole purpose as a composer is to create music that's primary goal is to convey unequivocal emotion and to make people truly “feel”. Philip believes that music has a unique ability to cause change in the world by this personal connection to individual listeners and aims to be a small part in positively impacting his community through his music.
