Posh Plants
press release: The Friends of Allen Centennial Garden are holding a trendy and high-energy fundraiser called Posh Plants at the Allen Centennial Garden on June 11, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Posh Plants tickets are available to the general public. Posh Plants is not a typical fundraiser: it will feature a night full of live music by the Paul Muench Quartet, a silent auction, and a botanical runway show live auction featuring past Garden interns.
“Posh Plants has something for everyone to enjoy. It’s interactive and there won’t be a dull moment. We want our guests to have a great time with fellow garden lovers,” said Ben Futa, Allen Centennial Garden Director.
An exceptional “Garden Cocktail” created by Graze restaurant, a farm-to-table style restaurant in downtown Madison, will be unveiled at the event. Ingredients in the “Garden Cocktail” will be sourced from the Garden.
Proceeds from Posh Plants support internships and scholarships at the Allen Centennial Garden, in addition to ongoing educational programming such as Family Gardening Day, a free winter lecture series, special events, and volunteer recognition.
“We rely on this fundraiser to continue to bring quality programming to the Garden for everyone to enjoy.,” said Futa.
Tickets for Posh Plants are $50 and are now on sale. Don’t miss out on the fun –– claim your ticket to this spectacular event.
