press release: Camp - Printmaking for the People

July 29- August 2, 1:00-4:00pm each day at Arts + Literature Laboratory (2021 Winnebago St)  

Join artist Lesley Numbers for a week of printmaking! By learning foundational techniques and by learning about historical and contemporary printmakers, young artists will investigate printmaking as a form of dissent or activism; as a form of communication and love. Expect to explore relief printing, screen printing, mono printing, and the ideas that make our prints come to life.  Afternoon camps are for youth ages 10-14 years; half-day camps are $175 with options to add lunch supervision and morning open art studio sessions for a full day of artmaking. Tuition assistance is available for families who demonstrate need; contact borealis@artlitlab.org for information prior to registering.
