Protecting Yourself & Others Online

Have you ever seen a comment online that made you uncomfortable, but you didn't know what to do or say? As a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, DANEnet and the Rape Crisis Center are co-hosting a class on how to protect yourself and others online. Workshop will cover tips for internet safety and online dating, privacy settings for web browsers, social media, and personal computers. In addition, participants will learn assertiveness technique and strategies to speak out against sexual harassment and victim blaming in online forums. This class series is provided in partnership with DANEnet and funded by a gift from Marvin J. Levy.
