press release: On Thursday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 4, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., listeners can tune in to Z104 or iheartradio.com to participate in the annual Make-A-Wish Radio-A-Thon. Hosted by Z104’s Aaron Rogers, the two-day event will feature the inspiring stories of wish children and their families each hour. Sponsored by Kesslers Diamonds, the Make-A-Wish Radio-A-Thon hopes to raise enough funds to grant more than 40 wishes for Wisconsin children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
“There are hundreds of children across Wisconsin diagnosed each year with a life-threatening medical condition,” said Make-A-Wish Wisconsin Madison Regional Director Nicole Williams. “This radio-a-thon makes a significant difference the lives of these kids and their families by raising funds and awareness.” For more information or to participate, please visit www.wisconsin.wish.org or call 608.252.4321.
ABOUT: Make-A-Wish Wisconsin grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Wishes are a special type of medicine that give children a break from doctors’ visits, hospital stays and treatments and provide them something positive with which to look forward.
