A possible overload of rock hits the east side’s newest club with this triple bill to benefit Briarpatch Youth Services. Ramona is an all-star Ramones tribute featuring Michelle Schinker and Ben Kruzick (both ex-Bes Monde), Wendy Schneider (Howler) and Cathy Dethmers (Bon Squad). More hooks are provided by Rocket Bureau, the latest project of songwriter-guitarist Kyle Motor; and suitably bizarre tale spinning comes from Alex Wiley Coyote (the solo nom de rock of the Wood Chickens singer-guitar slinger). Madison locals Ramona Ramona Ramona, Rocket Bureau, Alex Wiley Coyote and special guest, TheRealDJPatty are coming together to support one of the most important youth organizations in the city, Briarpatch Youth Services.
Briarpatch Youth Services Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving Dane County. The agency’s mission is: Strengthening the Lives of Youth and Families.
Founded in 1971, the agency offers a broad array of services to runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth. Briarpatch works closely with local governments and other non-profit organizations to provide unique programs that fill service gaps. Each year, Briarpatch serves approximately 3,000 unduplicated youth.
All funds raised from this event will go directly to services supporting youth who face housing challenges. Suggested donation / sliding scale -- $5.00 - $25.00
