B-Side, 514 State St.: Open early at 9am (until 7pm), plus free goodie bags for early shoppers, concert ticket giveaways and 10% off everything in the store (except RSD items) all day.
The Door, 4509 Monona Drive Suite B: Open at 9 am, with FREE pizza @ Noon, ticket giveaways from FPC, a big drop of rare used records and metal tapes, and The Mosh Pit from WORT DJing 1-3pm.
JiggyJamz, 1734 Fordem Ave. Suite A: We will have live DJs in the shop starting around noon or 1 and going until around 7pm... (open 11 am-8 pm). DJs TBA.
MadCity Music, 2023 Atwood Ave.: We will be opening up early at 9 am stocked with limited edition releases and hundreds of collectible used records we've been hoarding in the back! We are planning to drop 800 new used LPs that morning! A large Funkadelic/Parliament and HI-NRG Funk collection will be hitting the floor, as well as countless rock/pop gems and classics! This year's RSD LIST is chock-full of fantastic releases, and we've ordered as much as possible!
Reminder about the RSD titles: They are made in limited quantities and are allocated to all participating stores. Due to this limited availability, and at the request of RSD overlords, we do not take pre-orders or hold items.
Strictly Discs, 1900 Monroe St.: We open at 7AM on 4/12/25. Line to form westbound on Monroe Street. Outdoor restrooms, early AM coffee and heat lamps (if necessary) on us.
Starting at 6:30AM, you'll be handed a menu of all RSD titles. We will pull your requests in-line & you will check out outside.

The shop will open for normal browsing when the RSD line is gone. Once we're open, RSD titles will be located upstairs, along with primo fresh-used titles downstairs
There are no preorders, no reservations, no holds, no phone orders. RSD releases are only available in person at Strictly Discs from 7AM-8PM Saturday.
Any remaining stock will be available Sunday at 7AM on shop.strictlydiscs.com and in-store when we open at 11AM Sunday.

Get ready to drop the needle on something special! Vinylthon is returning to Monona’s own community radio station, WVMO 98.7FM – The Voice of Monona – for an incredible 48-hour marathon of all-vinyl programming on April 12 and 13.
Your favorite WVMO DJs are gearing up to deliver two full days of music straight from the grooves of classic vinyl records. Expect a weekend packed with surprises, rare finds, and the authentic crackles and pops that make vinyl unique. This is a celebration of vinyl culture, local radio, and the power of music in its most nostalgic form.
Programming Highlights
Be sure to mark your calendars for these special shows airing during Vinylthon:
Midnight Vinyl – Saturday and Sunday at midnight: Lefty Joe kicks things off with two hours of 45s, including an all-1975 set on Sunday.
VINYL / not vinyl – Saturday from 2-4 p.m.: Kirk Swenson curates a mix of local music, performances from Kiki’s House of Righteous Music, and an in-studio visit from musician Bill Conway—who may even treat listeners to a live performance!
Vinyl A Go Go – Sunday at noon: Lefty Joe, Jeff Perry, and Savage Scott present Vinyl A Go Go goes Live, featuring two hours of music from their favorite Live in Concert LPs.
Polka Time + Going UP! – Sunday at 6 p.m.: DJ Shotski delivers an hour of easy listening with a groove, followed by Polka Time’s regular live show at 7 p.m.

WVMO is proud to participate to help struggling college students who aspire to have a career in radio through Vinylthon 2025, a fundraiser presented by the College Radio Foundation designed to provide scholarships for future broadcasters.
