Have you ever wondered if you are correctly planting the trees and shrubs you get from garden centers? Many trees and shrubs do not thrive, or even survive, due to poor planting techniques. Join Olbrich’s Horticulture staff Aaron Wilkie and Mark Shimasaki to learn the proper planting techniques. They will share tips on selecting the best plants to buy, how to prepare the root ball for planting, the correct way to dig and prepare the planting hole, and post-planting care procedures that will ensure your plants have a healthy start in your garden. Most of this class takes place outdoors; dress for the weather. Limited space; register early.
