Spirited Women take over Robinia Courtyard for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Goal: Prevent sexual assault in our establishments by educating ourselves & our fellow bartenders. The Dane County Rape Crisis Center offers Safer Bar Bystander Intervention training for alcohol-serving establishments, and all proceeds from this event will be donated to the RCC to support their community outreach & education efforts.

The event will be held at Robinia Courtyard, 829 E. Washington Ave., on April 13th from 8pm-bar time .  Entry is $5, and from 8-10pm. This cover charge comes with a raffle ticket for prizes donated by local businesses.  There will be free snacks for the earlier part of the evening.  DJ's that promote a safe dance space will be donating their time/music and play until 1:30am.  All profit from door ticket sales, raffle tickets, tips from volunteer bartenders, and sales from donated drinks will go to the Rape Crisis Center and paying for the bar training class that they teach.  These bar classes will be held after the event and be free for Madison bartenders.
