press release: The Stoughton Opera House is proud to host the Spring 2019 series of Music Appreciation, organized by John Beutel and sponsored by the Stoughton Area Senior Center and The Bryant Foundation. John Beutel has organized and curated the Music Appreciation series for the last 17 years at both the Stoughton Area Senior Center and at the Stoughton Opera House. The series has introduced talented artists from all over the world as well as provided a showcase of many local and regional artists ranging from students to teachers to professionals.

Music Appreciation programs take place at the Stoughton Opera House on the following Monday afternoons at 3pm. All sessions are free and open to the public with donations graciously accepted at the door.

April 1 - Shun-Jung, piano

Shun-Jung is a pianist from Taiwan and has performed throughout Europe, Asia and the US. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the UW Madison. Her program will be Schubert, Debussy, Borodin, and Wagner/Liszt.
