SoundWaves. Roll of the Dice: Chance in Science and Music
We love to plan our lives, but chance events affect us and our society in profound ways. What role does chance play in science? In statistics? In world events? In the invention of the many things that make our lives easier? How does chance fit into music? Join UW–Madison scholars Michael Newton, Mark Eriksson, Leonora Neville, Chris Barry and Daniel Grabois at the final SoundWaves event of the season as they examine the role of chance in our lives. Registration is requested.
