SoundWaves: Hidden Worlds of the Universe
UW Discovery Building 330 N. Orchard St., Madison, Wisconsin 53715
press release: In our final exploration of hidden worlds, we look deeply into the universe, trying to learn what forces are out there that we never imagined. What can astronomy and engineering physics tell us about what is around us? In what ways do we behave according to unseen economic factors? What can we learn about extraterrestrial events by looking at the structure of the Earth? Find out as we explore the unseen with UW–Madison scholars Ellen Zweibel, Jennifer Choy, David Johnson, Stephen Meyers, Daniel Grabois and Christopher Taylor.
7:30 – 9 p.m., Friday, April 26, Discovery Building, 330 N. Orchard St.
Free (except for food or beverage purchases). Registration is requested.
