Spatula&Barcode Monday Night Supper Club
Central Library 201 W. Mifflin St., Madison, Wisconsin 53703
press release: Spatula&Barcode invite you to join one of our Monday night Supper Club discussions. On 10 and 17 October, we’ll be hosting meals for a dozen members of the public, by reservation only, at 6pm in The Bubbler. Supper Club includes a free, simple meal (soup, salad, bread) and structured conversations about food systems. 10/24 will feature a potluck buffet. (If guests want to contribute a dish they should contact spatulaandbarcode@gmail.com. ) Supper Club is an activity of the Community Research Kitchen that Spatula&Barcode have set up in the Bubbler during their two-month residency. There they study, with the public, the theme of “food systems” (food production, processing, distribution, and waste, as well as how we manage food ourselves). The Community Research Kitchen is a major component of a year-long project, Foodways Madison. Please register online and email spatularandbarcode@gmail.com with your rsvp and any questions! The Bubbler is funded by a grant from the Institute for Museums and Library Services.
