press release: In the Special Effects for Games and Film, attendees will work with a professional filmmaker and CGI (Computer-generated imagery) artist to create some of the most popular effects using in films and video games. From creating digital smoke and fire, to a dinosaur chasing you down the street, stop into this workshop and learn how it's done! Attendees are encouraged to bring a USB compatible storage device (portable hard drive or flash drive) to save their work. Instructor Nate has expertise in film production, editing, animation, game design, and digital art. The Bubbler and the Media Lab are supported by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
