RSVP for Sports for Active Seniors 35th Anniversary Party

media release: Sports for Active Seniors (SAS) turns 35 years old this year! We hope that you will join in this celebration of 35 years of friendships, camaraderie and fun experiences. SAS has provided us the opportunity to remain active at any age, and connected us to so many lasting friendships. All past and current SAS members and their guests are invited.

The 35th Anniversary Celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Tenney Park John Wall Family Pavilion, 402 N Thornton Ave, Madison. This beautiful indoor facility is on the Yahara River near the Lake Mendota shore.     

The party begins at 11:00 a.m.  A catered lunch will be served at 12:00.  Following lunch there will be a variety of activities, memory sharing and socializing. Come and see how many people and places you can identify in the slide show of SAS photos from 35 years!

Please bring cash or check to the party. We aren’t able to accept credit cards.

One other note: We could use some volunteers to help with set up and clean up on the day of the party. If you are able to come early, or stay a bit after the party please let us know.  We could use help with:

·      Setting up tables and chairs

·      Putting away tables and chairs

·      Technical help to run the slide show of past SAS events
