St. Baldrick's Foundation Fundraiser

press release: Coliseum Bar-Local 311 in Madison, Wisc, will host a St. Baldrick’s Foundation signature head-shaving event to raise money for lifesaving childhood cancer research on Sunday, March 12. With a goal of raising $35,000, nearly 40 local volunteers, are expected to go bald to support the Foundation’s mission to fund research that will take childhood back from cancer.

The event will honor cancer patients and those who have lost their battle. A local Fire Chief will also be shaving his head for the first time.

As first responders, the fire department deals with many tragic emergency calls involving children and teaming up with St. Baldrick's is a positive experience that helps keep the spirits high in the department .
