Steven J. Schmidt

Steven J. Schmidt is a Midwestern singer/songwriter who plays acoustic and electric guitars. Better known as an impresario and arts administrator, Steve honed his fingerpicking and songwriting craft while managing and frequently performing at the Black Spot Coffee House in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In addition to writing over 200 songs, he has composed and performed musical soundtracks for public television, film and theatrical performances. Steve's "The Road" CD was released on September 25, 2014 and is available on his web site and through CD Baby, Amazon, and I-Tunes. His music was recently featured on KSMQ-TV's "Off 90" program.
