The UW music school’s third Brass Fest features a booking coup sure to be appreciated by brass lovers. Stockholm Chamber Brass has been winning competitions, wowing festival crowds and introducing new material to the brass quintet repertoire in Europe for more than 30 years, but has never before been on tour in the U.S. For Saturday’s concert the ensemble will be joined by Wisconsin Brass Quintet, UW and high school students.

Concert, Fri,  Sept 30, 8 PM, Mills Hall: The Stockholm Chamber Brass.

Ticketed: $20 adults; $5 students and children.

Concert Sat, Oct. 1, 8 PM, Mills Hall: Festival Concert with the Stockholm Chamber Brass, the Wisconsin Brass Quintet and college/high school students.

Ticketed: $15 adults; $5 students and children. Reception to follow.
