Stress-R-Us

We are presenting a public invited, free conference at the historic Frank Lloyd Wright designed Grammar School, 5 mi. south of Spring Green on SR 23.   This conference will feature a variety of local alternative healthcare providers, presenting their special stress reducing techniques in 15' morning discussions, followed by an organic lunch ($12.50), and ending with multiple 30-60' hands-on demonstrations of these techniques.  Keynote presentations will be by Dr. Gregg Miklashek (UW '72), on the physiology of the stress response, and environmentalist Karen Shragg, who directs a nature center in Minnesota and recently published MOVE UPSTREAM, A Call to Solve Overpopulation.  

Hopefully, attendees will leave the conference with a new understanding of stress and stress management, as well as the larger issues of the role of human overpopulation in causing this stress and what we, as individuals, can do about it.
