Studio Kids

press release: Kids are born creative and curious. Let us foster that in the community, for all people. Madison Community Discourse presents:  Studio Kids - Art in the Park.  This is a free, drop-in fine art program for children in the Worthington Park area.  

It will be Wednesdays in the park from 1-3pm.  This will be a preview session for the classes that we will feature for children.  Classes will be announced soon, but drop by and see what we are up to!  

July 1 - Color Wheel, we explore the color, tone, and shade with crayons

July 8 - Explore negative and positive space with collage 

July 15 - Understand emphasis and center of interest with chalk pastels 

July 22 - Learn composition and blending with oil pastels 

July 29 - Experiment with variety as we explore mixed media 

August 5 - Explore contrast with Charcoal 

August 12 - Learn proportion with paints
