February 16: Sustainable Food Practices
Learn about sustainable food practices from the Willy Street Co-op. Willy Street Co-op opened it's first store in 1974. They are committed to sustainability not only in the foods they provide, but strive to reduce their carbon footprint overall by using energy-efficient lighting, using recyclable packaging for deli items, using solar to heat their water for their west location, and utilizing the Madison Gas and Electric Green Wind Power Program.
