press release: Camp - Sustainable Sculpture
July 15- July 19, 9:00am-12:00pm each day at Arts + Literature Laboratory (2021 Winnebago St)
Join artist TetraPAKMAN for a week of sustainable sculpture! Students will use nonconventional materials to create individual and group sculptures; students will investigate the artistic potential of materials that are otherwise considered waste, will consider the environmental impact of these materials, and will learn fundamental design skills along the way. Afternoon camps are for youth ages 10-14 years; half-day camps are $175 with options to add lunch supervision and morning open art studio sessions for a full day of artmaking. Tuition assistance is available for families who demonstrate need; contact borealis@artlitlab.org for information prior to registering.
