Taste Traditions of Wisconsin: Monster Legends of Wisconsin and the Midwest
Hundreds of sober, credible eyewitnesses claim to have seen Bigfoot in Dairy State forests, giant serpents in Madison lakes, dogmen sprinting from Walworth County cornfields, and massive birds with wingspans wider than a country road lurking along the Mississippi. Linda Godfrey, a journalist and author of 16 published books, provides a guided, illustrated tour of some of Wisconsin's weirdest creatures - both contemporary and ancient. A dinner featuring the flavors of fall will accompany the presentation.
