The Doubleclicks
Pegasus Games 6640 Odana Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53719
press release: Portland geeky folkpop duo “the Doubleclicks” have announced a 26city tour across the U.S. (and one city in Canada.) The band’s 2015 album, President Snakes, discusses topics from breakfast and cats to childhood bullying and social anxiety, and spent two weeks on the Billboard Comedy charts thanks to support of fans around the world and a popular Kickstarter campaign. President Snakes is a fictional Presidential Candidate, invented by the duo, who is five snakes wearing a suit pretending to be a person. Is this political commentary? No one is quite sure. The tour will include mostly all-ages concerts, as the Doubleclicks are hoping that kids, teens, families, and nerds of all ages will enjoy the music from President Snakes, hits from previous albums, and new material. Some tour dates will include special guests like ukulele songwriter and HBO documentary soundtrack composer Danielle Ate The Sandwich, producer/rapper/geekette Sammus, and singer/songwriters Marc with a C and Juliena Finch.
The Doubleclicks return to Madison for an all-ages concert at Pegasus Games on June 18! Doors open at 7 and the show begins at 7:30. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Pegasus Games! Pegasus games is located at: 6640 Odana Road, Madison, WI 53719. Information & tickets at thedoubleclicks.com
