The Mugs provide the soundtrack for #GivingTuesday, playing family-friendly folky-funky alt-awesome tunes in this fundraiser for a new Pinney branch library on the east side. It’s time for that well-loved Cottage Grove Road institution to get an upgrade. Suggested donation is $10 at the door.
press release: Join us for a Giving Tuesday celebration at the Harmony Bar and Grill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to support the organizations you love and make a difference in your community. This year, support The Capital Campaign for a New Pinney Library and help us bring a new library to Madison's east side community. This family-friendly event will feature live music by The Mugs, made up of Tim Haub, Tom Dehlinger, Frankie Lee, Check Bayuk, and Michael Gruber, and a cash bar.
There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Thanks to a generous gift from the Friends of Sequoya Library, all gifts on Giving Tuesday will be matched one to one. Thank you for helping Madison Public Library Foundation build better libraries!
