About the Presenter:
Elena West is an avian ecologist and conservation biologist and has been studying the behavior and ecology of Steller’s jays in the redwood region of California since 2010. Elena completed her Master’s degree at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment in 2008 and is currently completing her PhD research on Steller’s jays at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
