The Young, Gifted and Black coalition aims to get “past political jargon” at this event with the candidates running for Madison mayor. The group says it will focus on digging deeper on “candidate solutions, experiences and expertise” with emphasis on issues that address “state violence” including poverty, mass incarceration, homelessness, police brutality and other social injustices. The event will be moderated by Sagashus Levingston (pictured).
