press release: The Ten Tenors will perform their holiday show in Shannon Hall on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at 8:00 PM. Pricing is as follows: UW-Madison students are $10, Union Members and Non-UW Students are $35/$31/$25, UW-Madison Faculty and Staff are $37/$33/$25, General Public is $39/$35/$25 and Youth (18 & under) is $20. The TEN Tenors, hailing from Australia, are celebrated for their colorful repertoire, breathtaking arrangements and powerful live performances. They arrange renditions of classical composers and contemporary music’s most popular artists in superb live concerts including side-by-side performances with music legends Andrea Bocelli, Keith Urban, Willie Nelson, Christina Aguilera, John Travolta and Nicole Kidman, to name a few.
With 13 CD’s to their name, the TEN Tenors have performed for Oprah Winfrey, appeared on the Jerry Lewis Telethon and Poland’s 2012 UEFA Cup in Warsaw.
Says D-J Wend, their producer, “We like to think audiences come to our show to hear arias and classical pieces that will give them goose bumps like they have never felt before. We know they will get that, but we promise to also make you feel like you have just rocked out or been to the best party you have been to in ages.”
