press release: Kicking off the 57th annual Travel Adventure Film Series is The Treasure of Taiwan with Buddy Hatton on November 14th and 15th. Tickets are $13 for the general public, $12 for UW Faculty and Staff, $11 for Union members and non UW-Madison students, and $6 for UW-Madison students. Buffets inspired by the region are available for $18, and will be served at 5:30pm before show time at 7:30pm. The film is in Union South’s Marquee and the dinner will be at Varsity Hall. In this film, Buddy Hatton takes the audience on an unforgettable journey through the island’s cultural influences, traditions and high-tech society. We’ll meet some warm and welcoming people on the way. Not many have ventured to the small island, but this film will prove that Taiwan has a lot to offer.
Buddy Hatton has been involved in show business from an early age, especially after creating, starring in and producing his own San Francisco radio and television shows. Through his love and passion of discovering new people and new places, he has made immense contributions to the travel film industry, making his films even more enjoyable to watch.
