Sublime rose to fame in the mid-1990s. The band had a sound that blended rock music with elements of reggae, dancehall, ska/punk, and hip-hop. Their singer/frontman, Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose in 1996. The Nowell Family Foundation has used its legacy to educate on the dangers of addiction.
The Dane County NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) will be in attendance. Their booth will have information on recovery resources within Dane County.
Proceeds from the event will go to help addiction and recovery awareness.
