Veterans Open House

press release: On June 1, 2019, the McFarland American Legion is hosting its annual Veterans Open House. The Open House will operate 1200-1600.

This year, the Open House will coincide with our Take-a-Vet Fishing fundraiser. The event will take place on top of our Monument Hill, in back of the Post. The events will be under a large, tented area. There will be live music and other events. The Take-a-Vet Fishing fundraiser is an event that has traditionally drawn a large crowd. We are looking to capitalize on this fact.

The Veterans Open House has representatives from various State and Federal veterans assistance/service programs. We have an opening for someone from your agency and would very much appreciate your presence to speak with area veterans and service members. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
