press release: We are incredibly excited to have VO5 back for our huge annual event to celebrate what athletics can do for our students at East High School. This fun community event gives you a chance to thank the East administration, athletic department and our coaches for all they do to make sports a valuable part of their time at East.

Disco big band VO5 recently released their first album, Dance Originality, offering ten unique tracks of uplifting dance music. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the band is in the midsts of creating music videos for the original songs. One of the videos for "Dance Originality" appears on rotation in MTVu. Five of the videos released so far can be seen in VO5's youtube channel: www.youtube.com/vo5band . The next video, to be release in April, will be for the song "Aurora" and continue the Ken/Barbie story.  

VO5 represents the hopes and aspirations of all Americans and believes that dancing should be an essential part of everyone's revolution. The nine-piece band from Madison is known for its theatrical sensibility, outrageous costumes, and epic-length dance parties. They play a blend of '70s funk and disco covers along with their quirky and catchy originals.
