Water St., Watertown. The show runs through April 30th.

“Radio Daze II” will feature many different sketches such as “Poochie the Wonder-dog,” the idol of children 3 to 3 ½, a spoof of children’s shows; “Life on the Cowl Farm,” a continuing soap opera concerning a free-lance mortician and her fruitless search for lover and happiness; “Ed Fenske, $2.00 Extortionist,” the sordid affairs of a marginal criminal; “Lance Prifft, Washroom Attorney,” the saga of an idealistic young lawyer who is based out of a men’s restroom; and many others including parodies of commercials for the Watertown Players Radio Theater’s usual underwriter (and over-lord) The E.J. Tawdrey Co., purveyors of Tawdrey gifts for over a century. The show was written and directed by Bill Jannke and will be produced by Annette Weirick. Sound effects will be provided by Jim Steffl and Dale Van Holten, and musical accompaniment by the talented Carol Erickson.
The cast, entirely made up of talented local voice artists, has been in rehearsals for several weeks now and the show should be a veritable laugh riot. Those lending their time and talents to the production include: Lisa Steffl, Jim Powell, Gina Seibel, Rita Nolte, Doug Hoffman, Gene Walton, Jim Rollert, Mark Wolf, Linda Ewert, Dale Van Holten, Lee Logging, and the ever popular Diana Bessel.
