"Wayward Pines" Premiere

Barnes & Noble at East Towne Mall is the venue for the screening of the first episode of “Wayward Pines,” a new television series directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the creator of “The Sixth Sense” and “Signs.” The special event starts at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8. Based on Blake Crouch's best-selling Wayward Pines series, the show officially premieres May 14 on Fox.

The Barnes & Noble­ screening is free, but attendees should contact the store to reserve seating, which is limited. Mr. Crouch will attend to meet customers and sign copies of his titles, including the three books in the Wayward Pines trilogy: Pines, Wayward and The Last Town.
