press release: Sibling duo Wild Belle today celebrates the release of their third studio album Everybody One of a Kind, officially available worldwide on the duo's label Love Tone via AWAL with vinyl release to follow on April 5 via Tuff Gong Worldwide. The 10 track album features their recent explosive singles "Rocksteady", the dance-hall infused burner "Mockingbird", and the case-of-mistaken-identity slow jam "Have You Now".
Over the past few years, the Chicago-born / Los Angeles-based Natalie and Elliot Bergman, aka Wild Belle, have established themselves as one of the most dynamic acts in an ever-expanding musical universe, touring the world, performing at widely renowned music festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, etc and making late night TV appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and CONAN. Also maintaining creative efforts individually, Elliot delivered his "Peace Bells" performance at the MCA Chicago and the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington D.C. and will deliver another performance this year with an installation at the Marciano Art Foundation from March 29th - March 31st. Made from melted down guns and bullet casings from the duo's home city of Chicago, the Peace Bells are symbolic of Wild Belle's poignant message. Natalie also recently lent her voice to the HBO show The Deuce, covering the Elvis Costello song "This Year's Girl" for the opening theme song of season 2, and has continued to exhibit her vibrant collage work at various galleries in Los Angeles. Natalie was also responsible for co-directing the band's videos for "Mockingbird" and "Rocksteady" and even did the stop motion animation for the "Have You Both" video. The album marks the band's triumphant return to the music scene after their 2013 debut, Isles and 2016 sophomore album, Dreamland.
Wild Belle will be embarking on their headlining Everybody One Of A Kind Tour across the US this Spring beginning April 2. The duo will bring their show to even bigger arenas this Summer as they open for Beck, Cage The Elephant and Spoon on The Night Running Tour which begins in June 2019. For this run of 2019 dates, Wild Belle has partnered with Mission Impact to introduce their audiences to local organizations providing direct support to LGBTQ, immigrant, homeless, and incarcerated communities in their touring markets. Alongside Mission Impact, Wild Belle's goal is to provide opportunities for their audience to engage directly at the local level and activists in support of at-risk communities and ideas.
