ONLINE: Will Liverman, Suzanne Beia & Scott Gendel
Jaclyn Simpson
Operatic baritone Will Liverman.
It's impossible to overstate how difficult the past year has been for arts organizations, both financially and emotionally. Yet they still keep pulling themselves together to make and share art. This free digital offering by Madison Opera features the talents of baritone Will Liverman, violinist Suzanne Beia, and pianist Scott Gendel. They will perform Christmas songs and some classical selections by Handel and Vivaldi. The program will be available online for a month after the livestream premiere, so choose a time to cozy up around the hearth to enjoy some festive music while we wait for a better new year.

press release: 2020 has been a challenging year for every one of us. Through it all, Madison Opera has continued to share the joy and camaraderie of music by working with our artists on Digital Opera in the Park and continuing those artistic collaborations by offering recitals, lectures, and conversations in our Digital Fall Season.
All year, it has been you, our community members, that have sustained us both financially and emotionally. In the same spirit of generosity, we now invite you to digitally gather around the piano for our gift to you: a holiday Live from the Madison Opera Center, free for all to watch.
For this final Digital Fall program, we invited baritone Will Liverman back to share some holiday cheer. Will debuted with us as The Barber of Seville, was last here for Opera in the Park, and is opening the Metropolitan Opera season next fall.
He will be joined by violinist Suzanne Beia and pianist Scott Gendel for a program that ranges from classical selections by Handel and Vivaldi to favorite Christmas songs.
Don't worry about registering or getting a ticket – we will send you the link on Friday, December 18. (And if you can't watch live on December 19, the program will be available for an entire month, so you can watch it on New Year's Eve, too.)
