press release: An evening of Stories and Songs by Rural Wisconsin Women

Please join us as we celebrate Wisconsin's rural heritage from the perspective of women who make their living from the farms and fields that make this state a special place. We will hear a number of short heartfelt stories interspersed with songs and music, and enjoy  hearty appetizers, desserts, and refreshing beverages during the evening. We will also honor some special women who deserve recognition for making rural and small town communities strong and/or for promoting and practicing folk arts, crafts, and foodways. $25 donation at the door (Fundraiser organized by the Friends of Folklore Village).
