Workers Memorial Day
Madison Labor Temple 1602 S. Park St., Madison, Wisconsin 53715
media release: On Monday, April 28, we will observe Workers Memorial Day to remember those who have suffered and died on the job, and to organize the fight for safe jobs.
Workers face unsafe workplace conditions and even violence. Workers are dying and being injured on the job, and the Trump administration and DOGE are putting them at greater risk by enacting policies that will ignore solutions while creating deplorable working conditions.
Join workers, union leaders, Dane County Executive Melissa Agard, and U.S. Representative Mark Pocan as we commemorate those workers who never made it home and fight for those who did.
