Workers’ Rights Advocate Training

press release: The Workers’ Rights Center is a volunteer driven, bilingual, community resource center that provides low-wage workers access to information, advocacy resources, organizing, referrals, and training to successfully resolve workplace problems. The WRC has assisted thousands of workers throughout South Central Wisconsin in recovering unpaid wages, keeping or winning back their jobs and resolving other problems at work.
There will be a training for people interested in becoming volunteer Workers’ Rights advocates on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Learn more about the Workers’ Rights Center. Find out about the local, state and federal laws that cover the workplace. Learn strategies to help workers defend their rights on the job.
