With more than 25 showcases, Madison Comedy Week offers the opportunity to really dive into the regional stand-up scene, and also enjoy some talented visitors as well. Still to come: LaughGPT, with comics including Dan Gantman and Brook Whitehead “judged by a panel of AI celebrities and characters” (9 p.m., Aug. 8, Bur Oak); a special edition of Comedy at the Cabaret featuring performers from around the country and Canada (7:30 p.m., Aug. 9, North Street Cabaret); and the annual Best of the Fest showcases (7:30 and 10 p.m., Aug. 9-10, Comedy on State). Would You Rather with Andre and Maggie is the show that begs the question...in exceedingly original ways. Co-hosted by Andre Medrano (Don't Tell Comedy, VICE TV) and Maggie Maxwell (NBC, Reductress), the show has been a staple of the New York comedy scene for more than five years with previous guests appearing on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, Netflix, Saturday Night Live, and comedy festivals around the world.

This is their second time coming to Madison Comedy Week - and we couldn't be more excited for their return!
