You Can't Take it With You

press release: Local artist and MFA Candidate, Erica Hess curates a group exhibition, You Can’t Take it With You, that addresses the human body and material impermanence. Artists have been invited to explore the friction between the opposing and linked states of life and death and examine facets of impermanence; disintegration, transformation, ephemerality, belonging and displacement, stability and instability.

You Can’t Take it With you will be exhibiting from October 1st- 8th, 2016 at the Commonwealth Gallery, 100 S. Baldwin Street, Madison, Wisconsin. A reception will coincide with MMoCA’s Gallery Night on October 7th, 5-9 pm.
