Name change: Alterra Coffee Roasters, 25 S. Pinckney St., is now Colectivo Coffee. The Milwaukee-based roaster sold its original name (not the company) to Mars Corporation for its single-serving coffee packets. "After three years of this relationship, we decided it was time for us to move on... thus the name change," reads the official press release. The cafe on the Square is clearly in the process of changing over. All Alterra-branded non-apparel items are 30% off.
Cart nights: Let's Eat Out Madison's north-side food cart gathering on Monday nights (5-7 pm) has moved to Wheeler Road at Comanche Way. Wednesday night gatherings in the Atwood neighborhood will resume Aug. 7.
