Your hunger for juicy food scoops is evident in the top 10 food and drink stories of 2015, with breaking stories on Tony Frank’s Tavern, the Grieg Club, Hamilton’s, Capital Tap Haus and Nani in the top 10. Even when it appeared we might get a new restaurant but it turned out to be a hoax (we’ll never forget you, Porkestra), you ate it right up. The second-most-popular story of 2015 was Isthmus Beer Here writer Robin Shepard’s review of the Great Taste of the Midwest beer festival, a festival so popular that a whole other event, Madison Craft Beer Week, is scheduled for when the tickets go on sale, presumably to drown the sorrows of the people who weren’t in line by 4 a.m. Also making the top 10 was Max Miller’s story on Madison’s “trashiest” dishes, Michael Popke’s story about an upcoming distillery and Linda Falkenstein’s report on the best bang for your buck meals in town.
