The Malt House for beer (18 rotating craft and imported on tap and more than 150 in bottles, plus live music), Eno Vino for wine (150 wines by the bottle and 40 by the glass), Merchant for cocktails (two pages of seasonal original and classic cocktail creations) - Madison has all this figured out. Wando's, winner for sports bar, seems to have gained the edge due to its proximity to UW sporting venues like the Kohl Center rather than a bajillion plasma-screen televisions. Or maybe it's Tuesday's free bacon night that did it.
