It's impressive that voters know the names of the farmers who grow the food they buy. Barb and Dave Perkins left downtown Madison for the town of Vermont to start Vermont Valley Farm in 1994. Twenty years later, they have a thriving CSA. They're your favorite farmer, though visionaries, too.
