Crandall's will replace Chautara on State Street
Longtime Madison eatery Crandall's is heading back downtown. After twenty years operating Crandall's as a takeout spot at 6401 University Ave., owner Ivan Pimental wants to have sit-down dining and broaden the menu. The new space at 334 State St. is currently home to Chautara.

Crandall's to open second location at Con Safos
Crandall's, the longtime Madison fish fry spot, will open a second location in McFarland at 5100 Erling Ave. this Friday. The site, formerly home to the Park Ponderosa ballroom and currently to dance venue Con Safos, has recently been the cause of controversy.
