UP: Gov. Scott Walker. Billionaire David Koch tells Florida's Palm Beach Post that he will stand by Walker in his hour of political need. "We're helping him, as we should. We've gotten pretty good at this over the years," Koch tells the newspaper. "We've spent a lot of money in Wisconsin. We're going to spend more." The Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity recently launched a $700,000 ad campaign to help the governor in his recall battle
DOWN: Madison. The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association threatens to move the state's girls and boys high school basketball tournaments from Madison to Green Bay unless UW-Madison makes the Kohl Center available in 2013 and 2014. Madison has hosted the tournaments since 1920, and the event contributes an estimated $9 million to the local economy each year.
