UP: Madison. The city makes another "best of" list, this time Forbes' list of places "winning the battle for information jobs." It's thanks mostly to nearby Verona's Epic Systems, which has 6,800 employees.
DOWN: Injured workers. A fire that damaged a state building on East Washington Avenue has forced the delay of worker's comp checks for about 50 workers. A judge had recently approved the workers' claims, but they had yet to be processed by staff who work in the building, which is now closed for repairs.
