UP: Politicians. State legislators " in a rare bipartisan effort " propose doubling the amount that people can give to candidates for state offices. If approved, the new limits would allow people to give up to $20,000 to gubernatorial candidates, $2,000 to Senate candidates, and $1,000 to Assembly candidates. This will fix everything.
DOWN: Women. The state Senate approves a bill that would require women contemplating an abortion to get an ultrasound. Terry Huyck, president of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, calls the bill "part of a concerted effort underway to limit women's access to everything from insurance coverage to birth control and abortion."
