Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz is set to spend a lot of time around educators this week as he continues teaching a seminar at the UW called "Contemporary Planning Issues in Madison," helps show kids how to live a healthy lifestyle at Crestwood Elementary and speaks at the Madison Apprenticeship Program graduation in Fitchburg.
He's also scheduled to lunch with local Irish pub rockers, The Kissers, plant trees with a City Forestry crew and, like any self-respecting Madison liberal, take in an appearance by the Dalai Lama at the Kohl Center. Now, do you suppose the Lama will receive a Wisconsin football jersy as many other visiting dignitaries have?
Maybe the Mayor can slip him a "Keep Madison Weird" tee.
